IGGDC organises dental check up camp at Tiny Tots

JAMMU: Indira Gandhi Govt Dental College (IGGDC) organised a dental check-up and screening camp at Tiny Tots Higher Secondary School, Sainik Colony, Jammu.
The team was led by Dr Iqbal Singh Lecturer and Incharge Head, Department of Public Health Dentistry.
Dr Asha Sharma talking to the student about caries while Dr Kanika told the students about various preventive measures to be taken for oral-dental hygiene. Dr Rajwinder Kour spoke to the students about peridental diseases.
Dr Jehangir highlighted the role of fluorides in tooth pastes. Followed by the talk all the students of the school were examined and advised follow up treatment where it was deemed necessary.
Students of the Handa College of Education were also examined during the camp, and students from the nearby slum areas were also examined by the team of doctors.
Other doctors who accompanied the team included Dr Mohd Tabassum, Dr Rakesh, Dr Ravindra Singh, Dr Nandini Singh, Dr Firdausa Navi and Ajit Sharma (Dental Hygienist).
Later Vikram Handa, Principal of Tiny Tots Higher Secondary School thanked the group of doctors.
