ICAI J&K organises programme for peer reviewers

JAMMU: The J&K Branch of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) on Friday ogranised programme for Peer Reviewers at ICAI Bhawan, here.
The celebrations started with lighting of lamp and Motto Song of the Institute.
The Guest Speakers for the events were CA (Dr.) Anuj Goyal, CCM &Chairman Peer Review Board and CA Ayush Jain, CA R.K Gaur and CA Nakul Arora along with session chairmen CA Pardeep Sahni, CA Mukul Singhal and CA Vasu Garg.
CA (Dr.) Anuj Goyal took the first technical session on Importance of Peer Review. The second technical session was taken over by CA R.K Gaur where he gave a detailed compliances with ethical standards.
The third technical session was taken over by CA Ayush Jain where he gave a detailed review procedures & reporting by peer reviewers and importance of AQMM in peer review.
The fourth technical session was taken over by CA Nakul Arora where he explained various compliances with frame work of Quality Control General & Specific Controls and Audit Documentation.
CA Vikas Purdhani, Chairman of the branch welcomed the Guest Speakers, members and students and delivered the inaugural address. CA Sourav Pargal, Secretary of the Branch, conducted the proceedings and CA Vineet Kohli, Vice Chairman of the Branch presented the vote of thanks.
Other executive members CA Ayush Sawhney, Treasurer and CA Priya Seht, Executive Member along with a number of Chartered Accountants were also present.
