BARI BRAHMANA: The students of Humanity Public School, Bassi Kalan excelled in the divisional level inter-district (girls) athletic meet, organized by the Department of Youth Services and Sports J and K at MA Stadium, here on Friday.
Yasmeen Akhtar and Shaidu Akhtar both of Class 7th participated in under–14 group (Girls).
Yasmeen Akhtar clinched gold medal in 100 mtr sprint while Shaidu Akhtar got participation certificate in 600 mtr race.
Both the girls of the school who participated in this athletic meet were received with great enthusiasm in the school premises by Gaurav Charak (Principal), Anku Charak (Vice Principal), Akashdeep Raina (Incharge), Ajay Kumar (Physical Instructor) along with the staff members.
Principal declared that sports infrastructure is being upgraded in the school for providing a better platform to the students to take part in different sports activities at district, State, national and inter-national levels.
