SAMBA: The students of Humanity Public School, Bassi Kalan brought laurels to the institution by winning 11 medals (2 gold, 4 silver and 5 bronze) in the 11th National Matsogi-Do Championship 2015 held at MA Stadium, here recently. In the championship, students from 22 states took part from which 18 students of the school participated.
Gold: Shifali Attri ( 6th) and Navjoti Verma (8th). Silver: Pranav Rajput (1st), Koushal (5th), Pushpinder Singh (8th) and Mansi Lalotra (8th). Bronze: Krrish Bamotra (UKG), Kousheen Koul (UKG), Deepak Kumar (6th), Neha Jaral (9th) and Shreya Sharma (9th). Rahul Roy (2nd), Pawan Kumar (4th), Vishal Kumar (5th), Sudhanshu (6th), Akashdeep Singh (8th), Aryan Gupta (10th) and Paras Gandhi (10th) were also participated in the championship.
All the winner students were honoured in the special assembly by the Principal of the School, Gaurav Charak and Vice Principal, Anku Charak in presence of Akashdeep Raina, Nitin Jamwal, Mahan Singh, Sandeep Zuthshi and all the staff members. The principal along with the vice principal lauded the coaches Pankaj Kumar and Ponam Verma for their relentless efforts.
