SAMBA: In a remarkable achievement, boys of Humanity Public School, Bassi Kalan, Bari Brahmana, brought immense pride to their institution by winning Under-17 and Under-14 volleyball competition. The event hosted at Samba stadium on 21 -May,2024 under Purmandal zone. The winning team from HPS Bassi Kalan boys Under-17 showcased their exceptional strength and teamwork in defeating Vijaypur zone by 15-6 and 15-13 score in the thrilling final match. The team including Deepak Singh, Sandeep Singh, Shivam Sharma, Aftaab, Chander Partap Singh and Himanshu from class 11th. In Under-14 the team members were Raghav Singh of class 9th and Sayam Singh Charak from class 8th also showcased their excellent performance in defeating Vijay zone by 15-10 and 15-6 score in the volleyball competition. They all well trained under the guidance of Mahan Singh(Sports Incharge) and Meenali Jamwal(school coach).
In Under-17 five students are selected for Inter-District Division Level competition and in Under-14, 1 student is selected for Inter-District Division Level competition.
Principal, Gaurav Charak and Vice-Principal, Anku Charak appreciated the students for their excellent performance and also felicitated them in the school assembly in the presence of Incharges of different wings and other staff members.
