Hub of Learning activity ‘Kalakriti’ hosted by IDPS Jammu

JAMMU: Kalakriti Utsav, an art exhibition, was organised by IDPS Jammu for the students of Hub of Learning (HOL): JK-3160 member schools, namely, JK Public School Kunjwani (Lead Collaborator); Army Public School, BD Bari; Kendriya Vidyalaya, Miran Sahib; Cybernetics School, Jammu; and IDPS, Jammu.
Rajesh Rathore, Principal JK Public School Kunjwani and President, Jammu Sahodaya was the Chief Guest and Neeta Rawal, Principal, Army Public School, BD Bari attended the programme as the Guest of Honour.
It was heartening to see the amazing responses received from the HOL member-schools under four categories of events, namely, Worli Art, Fabric Painting, Pot Decoration and Best out of Waste. Total 80 students attended the Hub of Learning activity.
The host school IDPS Jammu exhibited superb generosity and awarded first, second and third prizes along with three consolation prizes for each category.
Hence 24 trophies were accorded to the recipients of the coveted positions.
Students added new dimensions to their creativity and imagination through various activities. The idea was not only to encourage children to use their imagination, but also help them understand life and nature as a whole. They learnt a lot from each other, while seeing their co-artists perform in all the four categories.
It was extremely gratifying for the spectators to see the masterpieces pertaining to Art & Craft with splashes of vibrant hues, different types of paintings, sketched portraits, paper flowers, articles made of paper and Eco friendly material, which brought out the best creativity of the students.
The Chief Guest Rajesh Rathore appreciated the meticulous conduct of the programme by team IDPS Jammu. He praised the MD of IDPS Jammu Suminder Singh, Principal Randeep Wazir and the members of the Organizing Committee for putting their heart and soul into organizing the event.
He appreciated all the talented students and their dedicated mentors for a wonderful event. The beautiful creations made by the students left all the viewers spellbound for the talent on display.
Neeta Rawal, Principal, APS BD Bari lauded the soulful ambience of the school IDPS Jammu, which made everyone feel so cozy and joyous.
She was highly impressed to see the innovative approach of children and made a special mention to the masterpieces designed under the category “best-out-of-waste”.
It proved to be an extremely fulfilling & rewarding experience for all the HOL member schools of HOL: JK-3160.
