SUNDERBANI: A two-day tournament of Volleyball, Kho-Kho, Kabaddi and Handball in age group of u/17 years boys and girls section organised at Government High Secondary School, Lamberi concluded on Saturday.
In the concluding ceremony, Chief Guest, Hitesh Gupta, SDM Sunderbani, stressed upon the importance of games and sports in student’s life along with his general studies. He encourage students for participation in games and sports. Jaswant Singh, ZEPO Sunderbani, Romesh Chander Sharma, ZEPO Lower Hathal, Imtyaz Ahmed Malik, ZEPO Dandeser, Bansi Lal, Incharge Principal Higher Secondary School, Lamberi were also present.
Final results
Girls under-17: Volleyball: HSS Kalsian (Nowshera) defeated High School (HS) Siot (Sunderbani) by 2-1 sets.
Kho-Kho: HS Kalideh (Sunderbani) defeated HS Anderoot (Nowshera) by two points.
Kabaddi: HS Dabbarpotha (Dandeser) defeated HSS Sunderbani by two points.
