Housing Board seeks assistance from District Admn, SSP Kathua for evicting encroachers

JAMMU: Managing Director J&K Housing Board (JKHB), Mohd Shahid Saleem Dar has sought assistance from DC and SSP Kathua for removing encroachments made on Housing Board land in village Changran, Kathua by one Partap Singh, son of Late Dharam Chand, resident of Village Rakh Sarkar, Tehsil & district Kathua.
In a letter addressed to DC and SSP Kathua, dated December 7, 2020, the Director has told that aforesaid encroacher has erected concrete poles and barbed wire on aforesaid land during last month.
The Directed further reported that Partap Singh and his brother Om Parkash, sons of Devi Ram, residents of Ward No 27, Bhagwati Nagar, Kathua are constant nuisance for Housing Board and causing hindrance in execution of work. He sought directions for SHO Kathua to lodge FIR in this regard besides initiating criminal proceedings against accused.
