RAJOURI: A house was gutted in Ward No 14 of Rajouri town on Friday as a result of leakage of gas cylinder kept in the kitchen. Owner of the house Bunty Bhasin son of Gian Chand raised alarm when the kitchen caught fire and immediately the Fire Brigade was informed. The fire after kitchen spread in other rooms of the house and after some time the whole house was on fire.
The fire tenders reached the spot but by then all the costly items including, LCD, refrigerator, television, furniture, beddings and clothes were burnt resulting into the loss of lakhs of rupees. The police has also taken cognisance of the incident for investigation.
