Dear Editor,
The incident of a teacher in J-K failing in test of essay on cow exposes the hollowness of our education system. An action is warranted not only against the teacher but also the agency which recruited an incapable teacher. Teaching is an art and an ideal teacher must have the blend of three traits: he must be eligible for the post, ought to have good communication skills and must have a thorough knowledge of the subject. It is indeed unfortunate that our recruiting agencies ignore these essential parameters.
