Dear Editor,
Truly, the Indian civilisation has survived precisely because the fresh winds and tides of different cultures have met and flourished on this soil. It is painful that those who do not conform to what Hindutva lays down are branded as anti-national. Regarding introducing Sanskrit in IITs, the authorities must understand that the nation needs engineers more than the priests. India is a land of “unity in diversity”, a state of togetherness in spite of immense diversity.
