RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat is in the habit of making irrelevant and illogical statements. The latest – like Germany is of Germans, similarly Hindustan is of Hindus. He must know that German is the nationality and it is not a religion whereas Hindu is a religious identity. People living in Hindustan are Hindustani, and not Hindus. Our nationality is Hindustani or Indian. He was exhorting college-going RSS volunteers to bring in changes in society and the system. It is apparent what changes he is looking for. Hindustan is a country of all religions and not the fiefdom of any particular religion. We need to guard against such statements.
