RAJOURI: In BA and BSc Part III Annual Result 2014-15 declared by University of Jammu, Himalayan Degree College Rajouri has once again exhibited excellent performance, by getting 89 per cent result in Science Stream with seven distinctions and 105 1st divisions and 70 per cent result in Arts stream with 39 1st Divisions.
Khushal Gupta, student of BSc Part III of Himalayan College clinched first position in twin district of Rajouri-Poonch obtaining 1,333 marks securing 81 per cent whereas Liyaqat Mehmood and Parwaz Ahmed of same college obtained second and third position in Rajouri District securing 1329 and 1321 marks respectively. Moreover Uzma Saleem Malik of Arts Stream of Himalayan College remained at second place in Rajouri district obtaining 1177 marks.
The jubilant students and parents extended congratulations to the teachers and management of the college for making quality education a reality in the remote border hilly area of Peerpanchal Region.
The principal and management expressed satisfaction over the performance of the students and pledged to work tirelessly with the same missionary zeal in the years to come in order to enable the product of this institute to shine not only at state and National level but also at international level.
