REASI: Keeping in view the present security scenario on the forthcoming Republic Day 2016, SSP, Sujit Kumar, sounded high alert across District Reasi and has made special security arrangements to avoid any eventuality like long route patrolling jointly with army for area domination at high ridges, joint Nakas of District Police along with CRPF have been activated at Moori, Balini, Panthal, Ransoo etc. besides the sources have been put on the job.
All Police Stations/PPs/ SPPs/PCPs/Nakas are interconnected through wireless network and phones for sharing of all the informations. Checking/frisking of all types of vehicles at PCPs /Nakas is also going on 24×7. QRTs at Fawwara Chowk, Ambika Chowk, Railway front and rear Asia Chowk etc. have also been deployed at Katra to meet any exigency.
Mock drill for Salal Dam Reasi and Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Katra are being conducted by District Police Reasi with the help of other sister agencies.
Meanwhile Sujit Kumar made an appeal to the general public of District Reasi to assist the District Police to make peace in whole district during the occasion. If something serious type of suspicious activities come into notice it should be informed PCR Reasi on landline No.01991-245076 and on personal mobile number of SSP Reasi (9419076668) or nearby Police Station/ Police Post for further course of action.
Public co-ordination with the District Police to provide them best service is highly solicited.
