HESK to start admission for third batch in Journalism, Mass Communication

JAMMU: Hindu Education Society, Kashmir (HESK), apart from having taken multiple educational activities, is also offering three year degree course in Journalism and Mass Communication in its institute at Raipur-Bantalab in Jammu.
After successful completion of the academic year for the first year students, admission is now open for the third batch for the session 2016-2017, members of HESK Managing Committee told reporters here today. They said that Journalism and Mass Communication, as a course of study and as a career, has become significant nowadays and career in this field is not only high paying but also bring in a great deal of job satisfaction and expression of creativity. It includes career in journalism, multimedia television, films, public relations, radio, web design, animation, publishing and advertising, market research agencies and corporate houses, Raina added.
For imparting practical knowledge of working journalism and multimedia production, the institute is equipped with a complete recording studio and the students shall be working on the latest technical equipment and software, he said. The admission to Journalism and Mass Communication course requires eligibility of having passed Higher Secondary Part II (12th) in any discipline from recognised board with minimum of 45 per cent marks for general category and 40 per cent marks for Reserved category.
