HelpAge marks International Day of Older Persons

SAMBA: HelpAge India Jammu marked ‘Internati-onal Day of Older Persons’ at Shibu Chak village in Bishnah and Sarwa village in Samba.
During the event, Helpage India Jammu Team felicitated and honoured the parents and wives of the two brave soldiers who lost their lives while fighting the four terrorists who attacked the Army Brigade Headquar-ters in Uri sector of Bara-mulla District on 18th September. Havildar Ravi Paul of 10 Dogra Regiment was one of the 18 brave soldiers who lost his life while fighting the four terrorists, he had served the army for 23 years.
He was from village Sarwain Ramgarh sub-sector of Samba District. The soldier left behind his mother Malavie Devi, Wife Geeta Rani and his two sons Vansh, Saransheesh.
Naib Subedar Karnail Singh was from Shibu Chak village in Bishnah. He has made the village proud with his martyrdom. The soldier left behind his mother Ratno Devi,Wife Geeta Saini and his three sons Anmol, Arun and Shivam.
