JAMMU: Reaffirming its steadfast commitment to holistic education and value-based learning, JK Public School Kunjwani organized an enlightening morning assembly on the theme “Benefits of Exercise & Balanced Diet.”

The assembly was gracefully conducted by Shanvi Matlonia of Grade 5 Pearl, along with her classmates, who brilliantly articulated the essence of a healthy lifestyle.
Opening the assembly with profound clarity, Shanvi stated that health is a state of complete physical, mental, and social well-being. She emphasized that these elements together shape our overall well-being and empower individuals to lead energetic and fulfilling lives. Highlighting the importance of mindful choices, she conveyed that healthy living is not about rigid rules, but about consciously embracing habits that nurture both body and mind.
The assembly was further enriched with thought-provoking reflections from students, who referenced inspiring words of eminent personalities. Laksh quoted Bethenny Frankel, “One’s diet functions like a bank account, and good food choices are valuable investments”.
Aaradhya invoked the wisdom of Hippocrates, “Food itself should serve as medicine, and medicine should arise from food”.
Gurtej echoed Jim Rohn’s powerful reminder, “We must take care of our body, as it is the only place we truly have to live”.
Kamalpreet Singh highlighted Nelson Mandela’s insight, “Exercise is the key not only to physical health but also to peace of mind”.
Prognya quoted Jack LaLanne, “Exercise is king and nutrition is queen, and together they build a powerful kingdom of well-being”.
Rudransh reiterated that good health cannot be purchased; it must be consciously built through disciplined habits.
Aaron concluded the thought sequence by recalling Mahatma Gandhi’s timeless assertion that true wealth lies in health, not in gold or silver.
Adding a delightful and creative dimension to the assembly, Savya Gupta recited a charming poem:
Eating veggies, fruits and more
Makes us strong down to the core.
Running, jumping, playing too
Keeps our body fit and true.
Water is great, let us drink a lot
Stay hydrated when it is hot.
Sleep at night, so we can grow.
Healthy habits help us grow.
Addressing the gathering, Principal JKPS Kunjwani Rajesh Rathore lauded the young presenters for adding new dimensions to the perception of young audience. He remarked that in an era dominated by digital distractions and sedentary routines, the importance of conscious living cannot be overstated. He emphasized that a healthy body fuels a creative mind and a compassionate heart, and that true education extends beyond textbooks to shaping responsible, self-aware individuals.
Concluding on an uplifting note, he urged every JKiian to become an ambassador of wellness, carrying forward the message that health is the greatest treasure one can cultivate, protect, and proudly preserve.
The assembly resonated deeply with the audience, reinforcing once again that at JKPS Kunjwani, education truly means nurturing mind, body, and soul in harmonious balance.
