JAMMU: Justice Janak Raj Kotwal of J and K High Court Jammu Wing, on Wednesday, stayed transfer of Suraj Singh, who is an employee of Rural Development Department (RDD) and was transferred to the office of SDM Khour by the Block Development Officer (BDO) Khour.
Petitioner challenged the same as he was working in RDD and cannot be transferred to some other department.
Justice Janak Raj Kotwal after hearing Advocate Arshad Majid Malik appearing for the petitioner observed that impugned order bearing number BDO/Kh/2014-15/2611-14 dated 8th October, 2014 issued by BDO Khour does not show as under whose authority or order he has relieved the petitioner from his office and directed him to report to the office of SDM Khour and issued notice returnable within four weeks time and subject to objections from other side the impugned order shall be stayed.
