JAMMU: In a petition filed by Sonam Wangchuk in question raised whether the teaching staff of Central Institute of Buddhist Studies Choglamsar, will retire at the age of 62 or at the age of 65 after the Institute having been declared as deemed university vide Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India Notification dated 15.01.2016.
Justice Janak Raj Kotwal while issuing notice to the Union of India and others, ordered that subject to objections and till next date of hearing, respondent Nos. 1 & 2 shall allow the petitioner to continue at his position though at his own risk and costs. Salary shall not be paid till further orders from this Court.
