JAMMU: Justice Tashi Rabstan of Jammu and Kashmir High Court on Friday directed the Home Department to pass a consideration order, strictly under rules, within four weeks, on the plea of former Senior Superintendent of Police Manohar Singh, seeking his reinstatement.
The direction came while disposing off the petition filed by Manohar Singh, who was suspended on 18th September 2009 for his alleged involvement in fudging the evidence in much publicised Amandeep Murder case.
The Judge directed the Home Department to consider the request of the petitioner as contended in the writ petition with regard to communication dated 4th September, 2014 issued by DGP for his reinstatement.
