JAMMU: The champion side of HC Classico lifted the senior men’s hockey title in the State (selection) Roller Skating Championship held under the banner of J and K Roller Skating Association at Shiva Roller Skating Institute, Peer Kho, here.
In earlier, games, Classico beat Roller Athlete Skating Club-A, Addiction Roller Skating Club and Roller Athlete Skating Club-B sides under the captaincy of international skater, Vinay Bakshi.
Goal-keeper, Ankush played brilliant game for the winning Classico thus helped the side clinch the final. On the basis of their performance, Addiction Club was declared runners up while Roller Athlete Club Jindrah had to contain with a bronze.
Meanwhile, in senior inline hockey category, Shiva Skating Club bagged the title while Indiana Club remained runners-up and Five Star settled for bronze.
Member Legislative Assembly (MLA), Rajesh Gupta was Chief Guest, who gave away the title trophies. Roshan Gupta and P.P Singh were among others present.
