STATE TIMES NEWS
VIJAYPUR: Continuing with its campaign for making the government accountable and highlighting the grievances of the public, the J and K National Panthers Party on Saturday held a huge rally in Vijaypur which was attended by several hundreds of people drawn from the town and the adjoining villages. The rally led by Harsh Dev Singh, Chairman JKNPP passed through the main Bazars and culminated at Vijaypur Chowk where it was addressed by senior party leaders.
Speaking on the occasion, Harsh lambasted the Union and State Governments for their imbecility and inaction in the face of highly aggressive and anti national outbursts and increased India bashing campaigns launched by the Hurriyat and other Pakistan sponsored lunatics in the Kashmir valley.
Condemning yesterday’s incident wherein Hurriyat leader Ali Shah Geelani organised a Pro Pak rally in Tral, in which not only Pak Flags were raised but highly inflammatory and provocative statements were made, Harsh denounced the BJP government for meekly acquiescing in the act by neglecting to crack down upon the saboteurs and offenders. He said that Syed Ali Shah Geelani had also organised an identical rally in Hyderpora only a couple of days back where he indulged in India bashing, spewing venom against our nation besides other seditious activities but was allowed to go scot free.
Questioning the BJP leaders over the tall slogans of ‘Zero Tolerance’ given by them against insurgency and separatism, he said that nationalist forces of the country were seeking explanation from the ruling BJP and 56 inch chest man for the open defiance of the sovereignty and integrity of India by a handful of separatists.
Calling for stern legal action against all those involved in yesterdays anti national rally, he called for booking the culprits for waging a war against the state and sedition. On Amarnath Ji Yatra issue, he said that the government should stick to the original 59 days’ Yatra schedule which has been finalised in consultation with all stake holders including the government, Shrine Board, Security Agencies and various social and religious organisations.
Harsh further said that JKNPP’s campaign for restoration of AIIMS and revocation of new recruitment Policy shall continue and would be taken to its logical conclusion.
