JAMMU: Hari Prabhu Sanstha held its 11th Annual General Meeting (AGM) in the premises of Scouts and Guides here on Saturday.
On the occasion, Neeru Sharma, (Retd) Chief Editor Dictionary projects Cultural Academy Jammu was the Chief Guest and A.K Arora, (Retd) SE Electrical and Patron Balgran, a Charitable Home for Destitute Children, Channi Rama, BaL Krishan Gupta, President Trikuta Nagar Development Council were the Guests of Honour, while as I.D Soni, State Commissioner Bharat Scouts & Guides and Patron-in- Chief of Hari Prabhu Sanstha presided over the function.
Jagmohan Gupta, President of the Sanstha apprised the participants about the achievement and objectives of the Sanstha.
On this occasion, yearly News Reporter of the Sanstha January 2014- March, 2015 was also released.
S.C. Gupta, General Secretary threw light on the activities conducted during the year and presented Annual Accounts for the year 2013-14 ending March, 2014. The same were approved and passed by the general body with voice vote.
Shiv Dev Singh Susheel a renowned Dogri Poet, Kishori Lal Gupta and P.N Jalla enthralled the gathering with their Dogri Kavita, song and Bhajan respectively.
During the function, Usha Chuni Prabhakar, Ateev Gupta and Manik Gupta were honoured for their meritorious achievements.
In the AGM, elections of the Sanstha were conducted in which Jagmohan Gupta, S.C Gupta and Subhash Gupta were unanimously re-elected as President, General Secretary and Treasurer respectively for the second term.
The Chief Guest, Neeru Sharma appreciated the cause and activities of the Sanstha and extended her full support in the noble service besides her valuable quotes.
Anil Kumar Sharma Vice-President conducted proceedings of the AGM while Harinder Gupta, Patron of the Sanstha presented vote of thanks.
