SRINAGAR: The fifth day of the league rounds of the ongoing 71st B.N. Mullik Memorial All India Police Football Championship 2023 saw exciting clashes among the teams.
15 matches including 12 men and three women were played today in the final league stage matches.
At Bakshi Stadium, SSB Women beat Jharkhand Police Women by 20 goals to nil; Assam Rifles women defeated J&K Police women by four goals to nil; match between Tamil Nadu Police Women and Odisha Police women ended in a goalless draw.
At Polo Ground, Haryana Police outplayed Goa Police by two goals to one; Arunachal Police defeated Bihar Police by one goal to nil; Tamil Nadu Police thrashed Puducherry Police by five goals to one; and Uttarakhand Police trounced Telangana Police by three goals to nil.
At Kashmir University, RPF beat Himachal Pradesh Police by three goals to two; BSF defeated Delhi Police by two goals to nil; CISF trounced ITBP by three goals to nil; Jharkhand Police outplayed Gujarat Police by two goals to nil.
At Synthetic Turf Ground, Assam Police beat Manipur Police by three goals to one; Punjab Police beat Rajasthan Police by three goals to two; Kerala Police trounced J&K Police by one goal to nil; Mizoram Police outplayed Madhya Pradesh Police by six goals to nil.
Dignitaries including COs of JKAP 9th Bn, IRP 20th Bn, IRP 17th, IRP 4th Bn and Dy. COs of IRP 6th Bn, IRP 9th Bn, IRP 23rd Bn and other officers were present at the venues as Chief Guests.
