JAMMU: District Yoga Championship was held in Handa College of Education on Thursday in which students of various schools of Jammu District took part.
The championship was inaugurated by the Director of the Handa College of Education, Dr Vikram Handa. Various Yoga Asanas were performed by the students.
Results: BOYS: 8-11 yrs: Ranjeet Singh 1st, Parmarth Sharma 2nd and Mayank 3rd. 11-14 yrs: Ketan Sharma 1st, Tarun Kumar 2nd and Shivaye Swar 3rd. 14-17 yrs: Nadeem 1st, Mitesh Jamwal 2nd and Naman 3rd. 17-21 yrs: Ankleshwar Manhas 1st, Sadam Hussain 2nd and Nitesh Jamwal 3rd.
GIRLS: 8-11 yrs: Seerat 1st, Tania Kumari 2nd and Himani Verma 3rd. 11-14 yrs: Simran Kumari 1st, Risha Rajput 2nd and Aashvi Mahajan 3rd. 14-17 yrs: Harshita Sharma 1st, Muskaan Rajput 2nd and Tina Saini 3rd. 17-21 yrs: Diksha Jamwal 1st, Rinchen Dolkar 2nd and Bhargavi Sharma 3rd.
