SAMBA: To continue the plantation drive under its project ‘Environmental Awareness’ GYAN-the enlightened path organised plantation drive at Adda Sarore in District Samba, with support of the local youth of the area. The drive was organised to spread awareness among the common masses. The activist of the organisation GYAN, Er. Lalit Raina said keeping in view the climatic changes of the environment it becomes very important to plant trees to save the future generation on this earth. All the local activists organised the programmes with the help of the youths of that area, the plantation drive was done at Shiv Mandir, public park and roadside area of Adda Sarore. About 100 saplings of different varieties were planted. All the management of the function was done by Abhishek Charak assited by Rakesh Makhnotra, Mahesh Sharma, Vasu Sharma and Nitish Bhardwaj.
