JAMMU: Coming events cast their shadows before.
Governor N N Vohra on Wednesday occupied the chair of the Chief Minister at Civil Secretariat on Wednesday and got engrossed into official business.
This is for the first time that the Governor positioned himself on the ‘hot seat’ ever since gubernatorial rule imposed in Jammu and Kashmir on January 8, 2016 following the demise of Mufti Mohd Sayeed. Earlier, the Governor used to carry out his work while sitting in a corner of the CM’s chamber.
“We are set to be under a long spell of Governor’s rule,” a senior bureaucrat told STATE TIMES in a lighter vein.
