JAMMU: The State Government on Saturday ordered that the holiday on account of Guru Nanak Dev’s birthday shall be observed on 14th November, 2016 instead of 25th November, 2016.
The order issued by GAD states that in a partial modification of Government Order No. 1557-GAD of 2015 dated Dec 21, 2015 and Government Order No. 1558-GAD of 20I5 dated Dec 21, 2015, the holiday on account of Guru Nanak Dev’s birthday shall be observed on 14th November, 2016 (Monday) instead of 25th November, 2016 (Friday).
