JAMMU: Green colour is associated with prosperity, fertility, renewal nature, energy, freshness and environment.
To cherish the Greenery we are blessed with, ‘Green Day’ was celebrated at Toddlers’ World- a unit of JK Public School Kunjwani in an instructive way.
The main motto behind the celebration was to teach the children about the importance that should be given to our environment.
Children were taught about the importance of the colour and the positive effects it has on our lives. Bubbling with enthusiasm in their astonishing green costumes the little ones created a pleasant, harmonious and refreshing aura and filled the air with freshness and bliss.
School was beautifully decorated in an Eco-friendly way depicting the importance of living in a clean and green environment. There was a series of activities like vibrant speeches, colouring, poem recitation etc. Kids stepped forward with zeal and confidence to deliver different amazing rhymes on the significance of green colour and related to environment.
School’s Coordinator, Shivangani Pandotra motivated and encouraged children with her kind words. According to her, the motive of celebrating green day was to make the students aware of how colour makes our world a better place.
Students participation in explaining the importance of any topic develops their communication skills and helps them to overcome the stage fear.
It was indeed a fun-filled learning day for our little ones. All the students enjoyed this activity and performed with confidence enthusiastically.
