Grand Rath Yatra of Hindu deities of Duggars taken out in City

JAMMU: As a part of awareness campaign of strengthening Hindu religion in the society organized by Dharma Jagran Samanvya Samaaj, a Rath Yatra of Hindu deities of Duggars of Jammu and Kashmir including Raja Mandlik, Baba Kaliveer, Sukrala Mata, Baba Kailakhnath, Baba Siddh Goria, Bawa Jitto, Bawa Naar Singh, Guru Gorakhnath etc, was taken out on Friday evening here in different parts of the City.
The Yatra has been organized under the overall supervision of North Regional Head, Dharma Jagran Samanvya, Rakesh Kumar and Patron of Dharma Jagran Samanvya, Dr Shiv Prasad Raina.
The Rath Yatra of Hindu deities of Duggar land was jointly flagged off by Mayor, JMC, Rajinder Sharma and Chairman, Team Jammu, Zorawar Singh Jamwal on Friday at Shiv Temple, Shiv Nagar that passed through upper Shiv Nagar, Subash Nagar, Rehari, Education Board Road, Rajpura Mangotrian, main Bazaar Shakti Nagar, Gurha Morh, Bakshi Nagar, Maheshpura Chowk and finally concluded at Dev Sthaan of Bawa Kaliveer ji at Resham Ghar.
The people including women and youth, on way, offered their prayers and floral tributes to deities and prayed for peace and brotherhood in Jammu and Kashmir.
Besides, members of Dharma Jagran Samanvya Samaaj, volunteers of Team Jammu gave rousing reception at various places enroute, by showering flowers on devotees. They also raised slogans like “Satya Sanatan Dharam Ki Jai”, “Bawa Kaliveer, Raja Mandlik, Mata Sukrala, Bawa Surgal and Bawa Siddh Goria Ki Jai”.
While leading the Yatra, Chairman, Team Jammu, Zorawar Singh Jamwal said that this Yatra will awaken the Hindu society on the issues like attacks on Hindu society by heretics, religious conversion, love jihad, land jihad etc.
He appealed the people of Jammu region to welcome this Rath Yatra in their respective villages and cities.
“The aim of the Yatra is to enhance good habits like Gau-Poojan, Mata-Pita Poojan among the Hindu community besides spreading Hinduism in the society”, said Zorawar Singh Jamwal and added adding they are confident that the Yatra will aware Hindu people and motivate them to respect their deities.
Among others who participated in the Rath Yatra include Shakti Sharma, Ashwani Sharma, Mulkh Raj Sharma, Yogita Chib, Ved Parkash, Sanjay Verma, Rekha Sharma, Nisha Kumari, Tinnu Sharma, Surinder Sharma, Ashok Kumar, Avinash Sharma, Gopal Sharma, Ramesh Angurana, Mangal Dass, Yogesh Kumar, Bijju Sharma.
