KATHUA: J&K Grameen Bank on Saturday opened its 211nth branch at Marta Nagrota, a totally unbanked village/area near Basohli, in Distt. Kathua. While dedicating Marta Nagrota Branch to the public, Vagish Chander Sharma, Chairman of the Bank impressed upon the gathering to avail all types of banking facilities from this newly opened fully computerised branch.
He apprised the gathering that J&K Grameen Bank is spread across 13 districts of the State and is fully committed to the socio economic development of the masses.
He also revealed that the bank will be shortly adding a couple of more branches to its already existing network.
Gurcharan Singh, General Manager urged the customers to come forward for availing various banking facilities being extended at their doorstep while ensuring that financial discipline is maintained.
K.L Sharma, Area Manager Kathua also spoke on the occasion and made the people aware about bank deposit and credit schemes.
