Grameen Bank educates women on digital banking

JAMMU: Micro Finance and Financial Inclusion Department under the chairmanship of R.K Chhibber in collaboration with NABARD organised digital-financial literacy awareness programme at village Sagoon (Unbanked area)on the theme of women education regarding digital banking under the Branch Offices Sruinsar.
Ajay Bharti, Chief Manager, GAD, J&K Grameen Bank who was the Chief Guest on the occasion lauded the role played by J&K Grameen Bank in providing various financial services to the people of J&K
Sahil Sharma, Sr. Manager, HRDD, J&K Grameen Bank who was the Guest of Honour, appreciated the efforts of the bank towards social security schemes and applauded that the bank is making extraordinary efforts to make the national programme of social schemes a big success.
Vipan Gupta, Senior Manager, MF&FI Department, J&K Grameen Bank, highlighted the schemes of the bank. At least 300 women took part in the camp, where they were made aware of RuPay Debit card transactions, Use of POS Machine,KCC RuPay Debit Card,Net Banking, Mobile Banking Services, IMPS, Adhaar based transactions.
Representatives of various line departments also attended the programme. At least 200 farmers were also present, besides the huge gathering Sarpanch, Panchsand other dignitaries of the villages were also present during the occasion. Mukesh Kumar Sangotra, Branch Head Sruinsar, addressed the gathering and detailed them regarding the schemes of the bank. Car, tractor, JLG and KCC loans of Rs.25 lakh were also disbursed during the programme.
