SRINAGAR: Minister of State for Revenue, Relief and Rehabilitation, Ajaz Ahmed Khan on Friday said that government is working out a financial package for permanent settlement of DPs who are permanent resident of the State and its submission to Government of India for necessary approval and allotment of funds.
Replying to a question by B. R. Kundal in the Legislative Council, the minister said that package has accordingly being drafted where under various concessions have been incorporated. He said the matter is under consideration of the Cabinet and once the Cabinet decides on the issue, further action in the matter will be taken accordingly.
