RAJOURI: BJP senior leader and MLC Vibodh Gupta today visited various far off villages of Rajouri and took stock of various developmental works being undertaken in these villages. In a special programme organized in the honor of differently abled persons, MLC handed over a brand new Scooty to Sudhir Kumar.
Addressing the gathering MLC Vibodh highlighted the fact that differently abled persons are a very vital part of our society with specialized set of skills. There is a urgent need to harness these skills from such people and also give them a secure a dignified life. He retreated the fact that these people should never be called as disabled but these are the people who have been gifted different skills by God. The need of the hour is to give this realization to these people that they also have a special role in the overall development of our society.
While highlighting various Government schemes, MLC said that one of the key feature of various Government schemes is to reach to the last man in the queue. These schemes are the result of the futuristic vision of our Hon’ble PM Sh. Narinder Modi as well as our CM Mehbooba Mufti. In the absence of such visionary leaders such schemes could not have otherwise imagined or visualised in a developing country like India for several more decades to come. He called upon the officers of various Government Departments to act as a instrument of change and implement these schemes with full conviction and commitment.
Latter local people specially the women folk in these villages thanked MLC for regularly visiting them and for listening to their genuine problems.
