Govt orders release of 12 prisoners on R-Day

JAMMU: Exercising the powers vested under Section 34 of Constitution of Jammu and Kashmir, Governor N.N Vohra on Wednesday ordered release of 12 prisoners with effect from 26th January, 2017.
The prisoners to be released on Republic Day include Harbans Lal, son of Fouja Ram, resident of Chak Nathal Tehsil Hiranagar, District Kathua, Bishan Dass, son of Gori Ram, resident of Village Songal Akhnoor, District Jammu, Pritam Singh, son of Dilmani, resident of  Dalwa, Tehsil Gool, District Ramban, Bhopinder Singh, son of Amar Singh, resident of Kralian, Tehsil and District Samba, Sharief-ul-Din, son of Rustam Khan, resident of Dhanore Tehsil Mahore, District Reasi, Gayasu-ud-Din, son of Rustam Khan, resident of Dhanore Tehsil Mahore, District Reasi, Maqsood, son Rustam Khan, resident of Dhamore Tehsil Mahore District Reasi, P. Parshotam, son of Peeramal, resident of H.No. 1 Mariyamman Koil Street Meenambedu Police Station Ambatoor Chennai District Thiruvallar, Tamilnadu, Darshan Gill, son of Allah Rashi, resident of Christian Colony, Shahidi Chowk, Jammu, Samson Massih alias Sonu, son of Younas Massih, resident of Christian Colony, Jammu, Suram Chand alias Surma, son of Tunda Ram, resident of Baway Wali Gali, Shahidi Chowk, Jammu, and Prem Singh, son of Bhima Ram, resident of Jajjote Tehsil and District Doda.
