JAMMU: State Government on Saturday ordered revocation of attachments, deployments and engagements of Education Department staff (except in School Education Department) with immediate effect.
Director School Education Jammu, Babila Rakwal has issued this order considering the fact that substantial number of employees of School Education Department (Teaching/Non-Teaching) have been attached/engaged/deployed in offices other than School Education Department hampering the working extensively.
She said that this arrangement by way of deployment/engagement has adversely affected the staff position in the institutions thereby severely affecting the teaching activity and official work.
The arrangement, she said, has been viewed seriously by the higher authorities and it is desired that the staff be repatriated back to their respective institutions to replenish the scarcity for smooth functioning of various institutions.
The Chief Education officers, she said, shall tender due report in respect of the attached staff within two days positively without fail. Any non-compliance of the order shall invoke disciplinary action forthwith, she asserted.
She also ordered that henceforth no attachment/deployment /engagement/relieving of employees of School Education Department to other offices shall be made without her approval
