Govt neglecting Ramban: PTU

JAMMU: State General Secretary, Panthers Trade Union (PTU), Sewa Singh Bali has accused the State Government for its callous and lackadaisical towards the people of District Ramban especially in Banihal Constituency till date.
“The State Government has not provided an adequate supply of free Atta to the poor people of Banihal Constituency for the last three months,” Bali told reporters.
He demanded road connectivity from Khari to Mahumangat, Ukhral to Alanbass, Senibati to Pogal-Panchal-Neel. He further maintained that these areas are also deprived of electricity and other civic amenities.
Bali urged the Education Minister to open a Girl Higher Secondary School in Ukhral. He also demanded to engage youth of Ramban in the construction of four lane National Highway from Nashri towards Banihal which are falling in District Ramban.
He appealed to the government to employ all the job card holders as soon as possible under MGNREGA.
Paramjit Singh Marshal, Naveen Bali, Shakeel Ahmad Wani, Duni Chand, Chandan Singh, Sushil Kumar, Prithviraj and Shankar Singh were also present.
