Govt ignores KP migrant youth recruitment: JTC

JAMMU: A meeting of Jagti Tenement Committee was held here on Monday under the chairmanship of Shadi Lal Pandita, President, JTC/Soan Kashmir Front J and K.
The participants expressed their grave concern over ignoring of Kashmiri Pandit migrant youth of their recruitment in Police Department.
Pandita said that various Kashmirit Pandit migrant youth who had appeared in physical tests and interview had qualified both physical tests and interview but it is unfortunate that these migrant youth have been ignored and deprived of their recruitment which shows the pathetic attitude of the government towards them. Pandita further said that time and again government and Police Department authorities have been requested for conducting police recruitment rally in Jagti migrant township to afford opportunity of recruitment to the migrant youth.
Pandita said despite lapse of more than eight years of announcement of employment package by the then Prime Minister of India, Dr. Manmohan Singh only 2,200 posts have been filled when 3,800 posts approximately are yet to be filled. Pandita expressed his concern over the government slackness in filling up the remaining posts under this employment package. He has demanded that government should come up with clear stand for ensuring implementation of the employment package in its letter and spirit by filling up the remaining posts immediately affording opportunity of employment to the eligible migrant youth.
Prominent among others present in the meeting were Raj Kumar Tickoo, Sunil Koul, Raj Kumar Bhat, Shuban Raina, Kashi Nath Bhat, Rattan Lal Bhat, R.K Raina, S.L Kar, Hari Krishan Pandita, M.L Pandita, M.L. Akhoon, Mithan Pandita, Ram Krishan Bhat and C.L. Pandita.
