Govt failed to implement SSA, RSMA schemes: JKGLTF
UDHAMPUR: Teachers under the banner of Jammu Kashmir General Line Teacher Forum (JKGLTF) on Sunday flayed the state government for its failure to implement central government sponsored schemes in the State.
They were speaking during a meeting held under the chairmanship of Ravinder Kumar. Teachers also highlighted various other demands in the meeting.
Ravinder while addressing the teachers said that despite the spending of lakhs of rupees the centrally sponsored schemes under SSA and RSMA have not been implemented in letter and spirit. The Forum also expressed hope to get justice with regard to SRO-469, which is already pending in the Court of law for hearing. Forum welcomed the decision of Court to stay the transfers of ReT teachers. Forum also urged the Govt. to release 17 per cent DA before the festival of lights.
