Governor rule was a boon for people of J&K
Dear Editor,
The people of the State had a hope in State legislative to meet different ideology leaders of two parties for the cause of developments, communal harmony and welfare, leaving aside their own party agenda and ideology and would revive the composite culture which made the asset by the Sufis and Saints for humanity. In that regard, no doubt, Mufti Mohd. Sayed took a bold decision by leaving basic principles of his party and leaving aside the political aspirations of Pak-lobby working in the Valley as well as by ignoring the loss of vote bank strategy, inspired the State BJP leaders also to administrate the people of the State in accordance with the guideline of Agenda of alliance by leaving its age-old demands with an out-look to develop the State economically and socially. In that healthy out-look, these two parties which got mandate to rule the State, formed a Coalition Government. Unfortunately, after ten months, Mufti died and his successors started to sink in suspense because of having no confidence to fill the gap. However, one intellectual and luminous, trustworthy leader of his party Muzaffar Beig broke the silence and informed the State people and the nation of great India which had been looking future developments according to its own angles, that after his demise, the Agenda of Alliance guide line would remain intact and prayed to God for long life for his successor. After all, the President of PDP Mehbooba Mufti was elected by her party members who had majority to take the responsibility to form the government in the capacity of Chief Minister after so many ups and down. May God give her iron power to remove the hurdles and obstacles to administrate the State smoothly with justice.
In the meanwhile, Governor rule was announced in the State and it set in motion a new rule under the direction of the Governor according to the Constitution of India. He first of all, issued directions to the directors of every department to update their web-sites in order to avoid same repeat for affective functioning of the RTI Act resulting in improvement in the maintenance of record, which shook the personnel including officers of the State departments, besides major initiative was taken to deliver good governance in all departments, Public Sector Undertakings and other organisations under the central sponsored schemes started to stream-line.
