JAMMU: Shiv Sena on Thursday made a strong appeal to Home Minister Rajnath Singh to recommend Governor rule in the State as PDP-BJP Coalition has totally failed to restore peace in the State particularly in the Kashmir Valley.
While talking to media persons, Shiv Sena State Chief Dimpy Kohli said that Home Minister Rajnath Singh is on two days visit to Kashmir Valley to assess the situation but now this thing is very clear that Kashmir’s situation is very bad and is almost out of control as violent incidents are occurring in the Valley after the death of Burhan Wani.
He said that Rajnath Singh must take concrete steps to stop violence in the Valley.
He further said that Kashmir incidents have a clear message that people of State particularly Kashmir Valley have lost faith in the Mehbooba led BJP-PDP Government adding that it is very unfortunate that after 40 days no concrete step has been taken by the Central Government to safeguard the interests of people of J and K.
He said that our party is demanding again and again for imposition of Governor rule in the State but no one is listening to their demands but in the end Governor rule is the ultimate solution.
