JAMMU: Students of GD Goenka Public School, Jammu participated in the ‘On-the-Spot Music Competition’ organised by the Jammu and Kashmir Academy of Art and Culture on 2nd December, 2014.
It was a State level competition having an amalgamation of light folk and classical in which about 200 students from various schools participated.
Sanviti of Class VI bagged first position, Stanzin of Class II and Tanishka Tickoo of Class V attained second position while Rakshit of Class V and Dhania of Class II received consolation prizes.
The Principal of the School, Dr. R.P Singh congratulated the winners and appreciated the efforts of Dorjee, Joginder (Tabla Master), Sunil and Sonika for grooming the students and bringing out their latent talent.
