POUNI: Government Middle School (GMS) Kharoti celebrated Annual Day, here on Sunday.
Incharge Zonal Education Officer Pouni, Anwar Hussain Choudhary was the Chief Guest on the occasion who witnessed colourful cultural programme presented by the students.
On the occasion meritorious students in different disciplines including Vivek Sharma who got sixth position in District Reasi Middle Standard Examination were awarded by the Chief Guest. He encouraged and appreciated the teaching and student community for their efforts in making the department proud. Dharam Paul Sharma, Mohinder Dass and Kasturi Lal Sharma also recited Dogri poems and songs on the occasion.
Earlier, welcome address was presented by Gharru Ram CRP Bhambla. Sanjeev Kumar Sharma CRP Kheral presided over the function and made an appeal to the gathering to help in enrolling children in government schools so that aims and objectives of different schemes of the government get achieved besides throwing focus on the annual achievements of Government Schools in academic and Co-curricular activities in Zone Pouni.
