JAMMU: Dogra Brahman Pratinidhi Sabha (DBPS), Parade, Jammu, has decided to constitute a committee of five members of the Sabha to look into the circumstances of GMC molestation case.
Chairmanship of the Sabha, V.P Sharma said on the basis of certain accusations Dr Bhupesh Khajuria was arrested after FIR was registered against him. “Bhupesh suffered police torture and humiliation for days together and thereafter Challan was produced in the Court and he is facing trial,” he said.
“Unfortunately, some people with vested interest are trying to gain political mileage by sinfully exploiting religious sentiments and extending threats and commotions. Such activities can-be counter- productive,” he added.
