JAMMU: CME on ‘Research Methodology’ accredited by J&K Medical Council, was jointly organised by PG Department of PSM & Pharmacology, Government Medical College (GMC), Jammu for faculty members, residents/demonstrators, postgraduates and DNB students on Saturday at NMCN, Hall in GMC Jammu.
Dr Shashi Sudan Sharma, Principal Dean Govt Medical College Jammu was the chief Guest of the said Function. She said in her inaugural address that the GMC Jammu is continuously producing good research and science and is contributing in the reforms of medical treatment for mankind at National Level.
She said good researcher has to be very good observer and analyser of the data. HoD PSM Dr Rajeev Gupta, Organising Chairperson, delivered a talk on the basic aspects of health research, Dr Seema Gupta HOD pharmacology, organising Chairperson delivered the lecture on Phases of the Clinical Trial.
Prof Dr Vishal R. Tandon, Organising Secretary of the said event delivered an elaborated lecture on Various study designs and how to choose a research question. CME was very well attended by Various Faculty members, Residents and Postgraduate students of the institution. DNB students of J&K across the state also participated in the said event in online mode.
