‘Give 100 pc towards students to improve academic process’

JAMMU: President All J and K Plus 2 Lecturers’ Forum, Kiranjeet Kour reviewed the overall scenario in the Education Department with special focus on academic excellence, ways to improve the enrollment and passing percentage in 12th class examination.

A meeting of newly elected body of All J and K Plus 2 Lecturers’ Forum was held under its President Kiranjeet Kour to review the overall scenario in the Education Department.

Kour requested the cadre to give their 100 per cent attention towards students to achieve the goal of 100 per cent result to improve the academic process.

The participants expressed their concern in delay of salaries to the employees of Education Department working at different places as they are without pay for the last six months. The meeting advocated for extending the benefit of running pattern to the cadre as per SRO 225. The agenda on priority of the forum are non vocational status of the principals, rationalised and transparent transfer policy, promotion of lecturers, senior lecturers, principals and also regularisation of in-charge officers along with implementation of Government Order 252.

Those who spoke in the meeting include Dr. Sushma, R.S Slathia, Anil Sharma, Sanjay Bhagat, Charan Dass, Narinder Sharma, Pardeep Singh, Jyoti Parkash and Deepak Sharma.
