SRINAGAR: Fire broke out in a residential house of Darshan Singh resident of Imran Gali Mehjur Nagar Srinagar, resulting in damage to the structure. Fire was brought under control by fire tenders.
However, one girl namely Roshni Kour, daughter of Darshan Singh received burn injuries. She was shifted to SMHS Hospital for treatment where doctors declared her as brought dead. Police has registered a case and investigation was taken up. Meanwhile, a residential house was damaged in a fire incident in Lakdipora area of Kulgam. Fire broke out in a residential house of Abdul Gafar Bhat resident of Lakdipora in the jurisdiction of Police Station D.H Pora Kulgam, resulting in damage to the house. Fire was brought under control by fire tenders. However, no loss of life or injury was reported in this incident.
