JAMMU: On the call of Provincial President of All Jammu and Kashmir Patwar Association Jammu, Mushtaq Ahmed Ganai, all Girdawars and Patwaris of district Jammu on Friday held a Dharna in front of the office of Deputy Commissioner Jammu.
The participants criticised the administration for not arresting the accused persons who shot at Patwar Halqa Bage Chak, District Kathua alongwith other Revenue staff.
Addressing the gathering, Kalim Ahmed, District President, Jammu asked the administration to provide full security to the revenue staff while performing their legitimate duties in their respective field/areas.
Raman raj Sharma, State President AJKPA and Provincial President Mushtaq Ahmed Ganai also addressed the gathering.
The association reiterated not to lift the Dharna till the culprit is put behind the bars and PSA not imposed on him.
AJKPA will hold state wide agitation in case of failure to arrest the culprit, they warned.
