JAMMU: Gandhi Global Family (GGF) J&K, in collaboration with Indian Systems of Medicine, J&K Govt, Akhil Bhartiya Safai Mazdoor Sangh and Green India Foundation on Wednesday organised 192nd Covid-19 Medical cum Awareness Camp at Kabir Basti between Brig. Rajinder Singh Chowk and Maheshpura Chowk, Jammu where AYUSH Immunity Boosting medicines were provided to the general public of the slum area through an expert team of doctors, following the guidelines issued by the local administration.
Dr Sanjogita Soodan, Health Officer, JMC inaugurated the camp in the presence of Jaswinder Singh Kuku, GGF Advisor Jammu, Younis Mattoo, Chairman, GIF, Lucky Chidha, President ABSMS and dozens of local prominent citizens.
Over 308 people were attended by Dr.Garima Sharma, MO and Nishad Khajuria, pharmacist. Earlier, awareness on Covid-19 was also conducted by the team of ISM Doctors.
GGF J&K, President Padmashri Dr. S.P.Varma expressed his gratitude to Dr. Mohan Singh, Director ISM, J&K and Dr. Suresh Sharma – ADMO, Jammu for deputing a competent team of doctors and providing free AYUSH medicines for boosting the immunity of the general public.
The camp was dedicated to living legend Baba Saheb, Mia Bashir Ahmad, Caliph of Islamic Sufi Order.
He was conferred with Padma Bhushan by GOI in 2008 for his contributions towards the country.
