RAJOURI: General Observer Rajouri Assembly Constituency, M.J Thakkar, convened a meeting with representatives of various political parities of Rajouri District to discuss issues related to proper monitoring of expenditure incurred by the contesting candidates during Assembly elections, MCC adherence and randomisation of EVM’s.
General Observer appealed to the representatives of political parties for the smooth conduct of the forthcoming elections and asked the participants to come forward to share their grievances any time to ensure free and fair elections.
The Returning Officer asked the representatives of various political parties to properly maintain a shadow register of contesting candidates by registering their day to day account.
Meanwhile, Nodal Officer Media Management, Ashima Iqbal briefed political parties regarding working of MCMC, criteria of paid news and pre certification of advertisement on electronic media.
